River Rock I
Adapted from an actual rock that I found on my travels of the West Coast of Canada. An archaeologist friend thinks that the rock might be an artifact - an item once held in the owner's hand while starting fire by a friction method requiring the turning of a stick under the hand.
A simple form that subtly echoes the forces of nature and possibly the trace of the human hand. Minimalist and modern.
Materials: Solid sterling silver, sterling silver cable.
Measurements: 1" in length
